This website and the web version
This website (stone-strike.com) lets you play Stone Strike in your browser. It has no account, no sign-in, no ads and no analytics service.
- The web version saves your progress and settings in your browser's local storage on this device. It never leaves your browser and we cannot see it. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes it.
- When you tap a Google Play button, the link tells Google Play that you came from this website and which button you tapped. If you then install the app, Google Play passes that note to the app, which sends it with the usage statistics described below. It contains no personal information.
- The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver pages, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
The Android app
Summary
Stone Strike has no account and no sign-in, and never asks for your name, email address or contacts. Versions released on or after 2026-10-01 send usage statistics to Google Analytics for Firebase so that we can see how long games last and how often ads would appear (details below). These versions request the Internet permission on Android for this purpose. Earlier versions send nothing. The Android version also shows ads through Google AdMob (details below).
Usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
The game sends these events to Google Analytics for Firebase, a service run by Google:
- when a game starts and ends, how many seconds it took, whether you won, the mode, the score, and how many hints or revives you used
- ad placements: when an ad slot would show, would be skipped (and the rule that skipped it), or a reward ad is offered or completed
- for each ad shown: the ad’s estimated value and currency, and which ad network and ad unit provided it
- broad player groups worked out on the device from how often you play and how well you do (for example “new”, “plays most days”, skill 1–3)
- information the Firebase SDK collects on its own: when sessions start and how long the app is open, the app version, device model and operating system, and an approximate location (country or region) that Google works out from the connection
To count devices, the Firebase SDK creates a random app-instance ID for each installation; on iOS it also reads the identifier for vendor (IDFV). Firebase does not collect the Android advertising ID or the iOS advertising identifier (IDFA) for us (the ad service below uses the advertising ID), and we do not send your name, contacts, photos or precise location. We use these statistics only to improve the game. We do not sell them or use them to build advertising profiles. Google processes them under the Firebase privacy and security terms and the Google Privacy Policy. Uninstalling the game removes the app-instance ID from your device.
Ads (Google AdMob, Android)
The game shows full-screen ads between some levels and optional reward ads (to clear three rows and keep playing). The ads come from Google AdMob, a service run by Google. AdMob is set up only when the game is about to show its first ad, not when you open the game.
- When it is set up, users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their choices about ads and data through a consent form from Google. You can play either way, and you can change your choices later from the game's settings.
- To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects the IP address (which may be used to estimate the general location of the device), your interactions with the app and its ads, diagnostic information about the app and the SDK, and device identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google describes this in its data disclosure for the SDK and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
- If you buy Remove ads, Google Play handles the payment. The game only asks Google Play whether you own it, so the full-screen ads stay off after you reinstall.
What the game stores on your device
To remember your progress, the game saves small files inside its own app storage on your device:
- the highest level you have reached and the stars you earned on each level
- your sound and music settings
- which game features have already been introduced to you
- the level you are playing right now and the shots you have taken in it, so you can continue after leaving the app
These files never leave your device. We cannot see them. Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes them.
What we do not do
- No crash-reporting services are included. Usage statistics and ads are described above.
- No precise location, contacts or photos are accessed. The advertising ID is used only by the ad service described above.
- We do not sell data. The only third party that receives data is Google, as described above.
App stores
If you download the game from Google Play or the App Store, Google or Apple processes information about that download under its own privacy policy:policies.google.com/privacy · apple.com/legal/privacy.
Children
The game is not directed at children. It does not ask anyone, including children, for a name, contact details or other personal information. The usage statistics and ad data above contain none of these.
Changes
If a future version starts collecting or sharing any other data, this page will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
