How to play Stone Strike

Stone Strike is a brick breaker where you shoot balls at blocks with numbers. There is one goal: clear every brick before the board reaches the bottom.

One shot, step by step

  1. Aim. Put your finger (or the mouse) on the board and drag. A dotted line shows where the balls will go.
  2. Shoot. Let go. All your balls leave one after another along that line and bounce off the walls and bricks.
  3. Break bricks. Every brick shows a number: how many hits it can take. Each ball that touches it takes one off. At zero the brick breaks.
  4. Collect rings. Rings marked +1, +2 or +3 add balls. Balls you collect join from the next shot, so the rain gets bigger as you go.
  5. Watch the bottom. When every ball has come back, the bricks move down one row. If a brick reaches the bottom, the level is over.

Winning a level

A level is won when every breakable brick is gone. Steel blocks never break, so they do not count.

Stars

Stars show how close the bricks came to the bottom while you cleared the board:

Second chance

From level 6, once per level, a level you would lose can go on: the three lowest rows are cleared and you keep playing. A level finished this way gives one star.

Special bricks

From level 4 on, new kinds of bricks and items join the board one at a time — slopes, lasers, blast bricks, warps and more. The game explains each one the first time it appears. See all special bricks.

Chapters and pictures

Levels come in chapters of 20, each with its own theme, and many levels are pixel pictures made of bricks. See the chapters.
